Institute of Electrical and Elctronics Engineers (IEEE) and Women in Engineering (WIE), FR. C.R.C.E. organized a webinar on Industrial Trends and Technology on 05th February 2022. The objective of the webinar was to give basic overview of real time and experience of current industry and their trends and technology. Our speaker was Mr. Shailendra Phatak who is currently the Director of iTech Business Solutions Private Limited.

Mr. Shailendra Phatak

Mr. Shailendra Phatak completed his engineering from Savitribai Phule of Pune University. He completed his MBA from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. He had worked as manager at Capgemini over three years and then worked as business analyst at HAI and Nihilent Technologies. He also worked as Project Sales Executive at Indus Software Pune and currently, he is the director of iTech Business Solutions Private Limited over 14 years.

Our host started the event by Welcoming our speaker and all the participants. Then, Mr. Shailendra Phatak continued the event by introducing himself. He covered topics regarding industrial trends, technology stack and allied skills sets.
He mentioned about requirements in IT industry and the current trends going on and usage in industry. He also mentioned skills which are required for the industry and ways to achieve it. He also highlighted about the internship, its benefits for career and about the roles which are trending in the industry. He also showed a proper way to get into the industry.

At the end of event, a 20 minutes QnA session was held where many participants asked their doubts about the ways to achieve the goals in industry and our speaker cleared their doubts with couple of examples. Our host concluded the event by a vote of thanks for the speaker and all participants. The outcome of the event is to get better idea about industrial trends and technology from an experienced person.
